DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in

locating a missing woman, identified as 21 year old Miranda Whitton of

Logansport, LA.  She was last seen on Monday evening, June 6, 2016, in the

Logansport area.  Whitton is described as a white female, 5'1" tall about

100 lbs with long dark brown or black hair. She was last seen wearing white

shorts with a blue stripe and a black t-shirt with the words "Hurley"

written in blue on the front.  She has been known to have ties in the

Joaquin and the Shelbyville Texas area.  Anyone with information as to the

location of Miranda Whitton is asked to please contact the DeSoto Parish

Sheriff's Office at (318) 872-3956 or local law enforcement as soon as

possible.
