State Track Meet Results – Timpson High School athletes competed this past weekend in Austin at the state track meet.

 

•      Devonta Thompson placed third in 100M race

 

•      Hayden Smith placed seventh in 400M race

 

•      Chandler Burgay placed eighth in discus throw

 

•      Nictaeo Scourton placed 8th in shot put

 

Earning a place to compete in State is an honor these athletes worked hard to achieve.  Thank you to all these students for representing TISD at the state level of competition.

 

THS Senior Scholarship Program - The Timpson High School scholarship program will be Thursday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.  Presenters are asked to arrive at the high school library at 5:30 for a reception and to receive any needed materials.  Please contact Charlotte Metcalf, high school counselor or Vernett Richardson, Go Center Director, if you have any questions or would like to present a scholarship; either may be reached at (936) 254-3125.
