Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle would like to notify the public of an ongoing
investigation into multiple car burglaries that occurred this morning in
Stonewall, LA. At about 4:27 a.m., DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office received a
phone call from a citizen in the 200 block of Leigh Lane in Stonewall, LA.
The caller advised he saw 3 subjects looking around houses. He yelled at
them and they ran off. Deputies responded to the location and arrived in the
area at about 4:31 a.m. to find a vehicle, identified as a white 1995 Volvo
4 door car, leaving the area of North DeSoto Estates. Deputies noticed the
vehicle had an out of state tag and followed it before initiating a traffic
stop in the area of Highway 171 and the Shell Station in Stonewall, LA. The
vehicle pulled into a residence at which time the occupants exited the
vehicle and ran from the deputy. A perimeter was established and K9 was
called to search for the suspects. K9 responded and at about 6:50 a.m. was
able to locate a subject hiding in the woods in the area of Old Jefferson
Road. The suspect was taken into custody and was identified as Quantavious
Rashard Green (B/M - DOB: 02/01/1995) of Shreveport, LA. Quantavious Green
was also identified as the owner of the vehicle left abandoned following the
traffic stop. Quantavious Green was treated on the scene for injuries from
the dog bite and transported to DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office for
questioning. A second K9 responded to the location and the perimeter was
maintained while the search ensued. A lock down was initiated at North
DeSoto Schools and the Salem Day Care Center for a brief period during the
search. Investigators were able to identify the three suspects that fled
from the vehicle and were not apprehended. They have been identified as Troy
Lee Washington (B/M - DOB: 06/25/1995), Remington J Halley (B/M - DOB:
02/20/1993), and Demarco Diamante Sean Green (B/M - DOB: 06/06/1995), all of
Shreveport, LA. Investigators were able to confirm at least eight (8)
vehicular burglaries and recovered some property from the vehicle that was
abandoned following the execution of a search warrant. Arrest warrants have
been issued for all three outstanding suspects on one (1) count of Resisting
an Officer and eight (8) counts of Simple Burglary. This investigation is
on-going and more counts may be pending. Anyone with more information, or
who knows the location of any of the three suspects, is asked to contact
DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-872-3956.
