Timpson ISD Bear Update

Team Isaiah Shirts  Submitted by: Brittany Kimbro

Here is the front and back of the shirts for Isaiah. For those of you that are not aware, Isaiah attends kindergarten here at Timpson. His mother is Shakera Eaden, graduated in 2009 from THS. He is currently in ICU at Children's Hospital in Dallas. We are selling t-shirts to show our support and help with medical expenses. Orders are due Friday by 3pm.  Keep him in your prayers. THS Fishing Association - Out of over 400 teams in the South East Texas High School Fishing Association, the Timpson High School team of Chandler Burgay and Hunter Smith rank fifth. They will compete in a fishing tournament at Sam Rayburn Lake this Sunday May 8. Good luck team.

 

TES Pre-K News - Submitted by Penny Ramsey

Ms. Penny's Pre-K class has been talking about living and non-living items.  We also have been talking about growing seeds, planting seeds, what plants need to grow and how they grow.  We've also been talking about parts of plants.  When we first started talking about this, we planted a sweet potato to see if it would grow.  After several weeks, it has started growing.  It has roots, stems and leaves.  Ms. Penny's class enjoys watching it grow. In the picture with the sweet potato is Joleigh Jourden, Kooper Welch, and Logan Renick.

 

 National Day of Prayer - Timpson FCA president Chandler Burgay led a large group of students in prayer for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday May 5th.
