The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, March 12, at 10:00 AM at the Historic Courthouse on the Square. Following the business meeting, at around 11:00, the Chapter will hold a Flag Ceremony and a Texas Honor Days observation. The JJE Gibson Children of the Republic of Texas Chapter and the Gateway to Texas Sons of the Republic of Texas Chapter will assist in the program. Weather permitting, the program will be held outside near the flagpoles. If weather is not favorable, it will be held inside the Courthouse instead. The public is invited to join them at 11:00 AM and help celebrate Texas History Month. Refreshments will be served in the DRT's First Ladies in Texas Building. They hope to see a good turn out.
