*Panola College to Host Lunchbox Lecture and Gallery Exhibit*
 
*The Importance of Nutrition and Exercise as We Age*
 
 
 
 
Panola College’s M.P. Baker Library will host *The Importance of Nutrition
and Exercise as We Age *with special speaker John Solan on Tuesday,
February 9, 2016 in the Murphy-Payne Community Rooms of the Library. Dr.
Solan earned his PhD in clinical psychology from Northwestern University in
Illinois. He is also a certified nutritional specialist, certified personal
fitness trainer, certified first aid responder, balance and stability
instructor, and senior fitness trainer. He will share his personal
experiences in the fitness and wellness industry with a special emphasis on
the role nutrition plays in quality of life. The lecture is free and open
to the public beginning at 12:15pm and lasting approximately 30 minutes.
Lunch will be provided for the first 50 attendees arriving.
 
 
 
In conjunction with the lecture, “Healthy Hearts are Happy Hearts” will be
on exhibit in the Fay Allison Gallery from February 1st – 29th.This locally
created exhibit focuses on the variety of diet and exercise programs
available for society and statistics from assorted health agencies about
the importance of both. The display will also feature popular apps and
other resources for assistance with improving health. The exhibit is also
