Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing Body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 11th day of January, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

 

 

1. Approve the minutes of the December 14th, 2015, Regular Meeting, and the December 28, 2015, Special Meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court.

 

2. Approve and pay monthly expenses.

 

3. Approve Officers’ Reports.

 

4. Public Comments on Agenda items.

 

5. Presentation by Jheri-Lynn McSwain and Lane Dunn regarding the Demonstration and Community Garden Project.

 

6. Discuss and possibly approve County Extension Demonstration and Community Gardens Project.

 

7. Discuss and take action to approve the Order of the Commissioners Court of Shelby County Designating Areas Essential For The Operations of The Courts.

 

8. Discuss and possibly take action on Personnel Policy concerning Hours worked and Overtime pay. Specifically addressing County Approved Holidays.

 

9. Discuss and possibly approve an Order for to Sale Fireworks as authorized under Section 2154.202 (g) and (h), Texas Occupations Code and Section 352.051 (b) (1) and (d), Local Government Code.
