On Thursday, December 3rd the Timpson Elementary Agents for Change traveled to the Garrison Nursing Home to spread a little Christmas cheer. Agents for Change is made up of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who want to make a difference in our school and the community. These students have to maintain good citizenship to remain active, and they spend their time serving others through community service type projects.

This past Thursday, these students sang a selection of Christmas carols for the residents of the Garrison Nursing Home. After their performance, the Agents visited with the residents and passed out handmade Christmas cards to them and to the staff. This was a rewarding experience for everyone involved. The Agents hope to return to the nursing home in the spring for another visit. Their sponsor is Tammy Sparks.
