Obituary: Wilsie Dee Taylor

Wilsie Dee Taylor, 83, of Terrel, formerly of Center, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 in Tyler.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2015, at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Center.

 

Ms. Taylor was born February 29, 1932, in Shelby County, Texas to Johnnie Henry Edison and Bonnie Lucille Black Edison. She was a former employee of Payne & Payne in Center, where she worked as a sales clerk for twenty years. Ms. Taylor was an ordained Methodist minister and very involved in the activities of her church, New Hope Methodist Church, especially the children’s ministries. She was an avid supporter of a number of missionaries in many different countries.

 

She is survived by
