Dave Lamar Jackson, 89, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at his residence in Shelbyville.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at the Carroll Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was born February 19, 1926 in Shelbyville, Texas to Bill Jackson and Mildred Greer Jackson. He was a graduate of Shelbyville High School. Mr. Jackson served his country during World War II in the Navy. He was a member of the Pasadena Sheriff’s Posse and a member of the Clever Creek Baptist Church.
