Elie Arthur Tomlin, 92, of Center, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015, in Nacogdoches.

 

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, September 21, 2015, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center with Tim Perkins officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

 

Mr. Tomlin was born December 28, 1922, in Center, to Jacob Arthur Tomlin and Maude Stephens Tomlin.  He served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Tomlin loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening.  He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.
