DECEASED NAME FOR NEWS:Dorothy McGinty

 

Dorothy McGinty, 94, of Center, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, in Center.

 

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Pat Windham officiating.Visitation will be held at Watson & Sons Funeral Home prior to the graveside service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

 

Ms. McGinty was born December 22, 1920, in Throckmorton, to Jesse Blackshear and Ina Lee Blackshear.  She was a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church. 

 

She is survived by

Daughter: Ina Bass of Center

 

Grandchildren:

Kenneth Shahan and wife, Sarah, of Center

Justin Shahan of Boston, Massachusetts

Cherie Rudd and husband, Randy, of Center
