News Headlines

9/10 and 9/11 weather

The cold front that was moving in our direction has become stationary on a line from Midland to just North of Dallas to Shreveport.  T-storms could become active as the day begins to warm to the South of that line.  Some storms are beginning to fire up in the South Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana areas and are bringing with them some 30% coverage.  That coverage will increase as they move to the East and South. We could see some light rainfall sometime around 1 pm today.
Tomorrow...light rain in the morning, but the chances for rain drop off to about 15% by Noon or shortly afterward.  We should be overcast, and dry for the 911 event here in San Augustine. Our chances do increase after 9pm until 5am on Saturday. Then, clear and dry conditions with low to mid 80's for highs until Tuesday when another cold front pushes our way. Tom JohnsonKTXSANAU6
