Weather Update

 Low to mid 80's for most of the area.  The further South of the Red River you go will be the higher temps.    

   - The rain is now mostly between the I20 and I30 corridors.  We are in the 50% chance forecast.
   - The front has passed our area, but will move back thru the area later this evening and we could see rain chances lingering thru Tuesday of next week albeit lower chances than today and Friday.    

   - Triple digits are gone from the 10 day forecast.
   - Drought conditions will remain until we have seen some 7-8 inches of  widespread rainfall
   - On the Tropical Front: Tropical Depression Danny is Now a Class 1 Hurricane.  It is headed in a Westerly direction towards the Caribbean/ Puerto Rico/ Cuba areas.  If it goes North it will hit cold water and dissipate rapidly.  HOWEVER, if the track takes it South of Cuba it will hit some very warm water and could become a major storm that could have an effect the Gulf Coast of the United States.
