Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle reports the arrest of a juvenile following a fatal
stabbing in Mansfield, LA this evening.  On August 19, 2015, at about 7:10
p.m., DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office dispatch was notified that a female
subject, now identified as Yolanda  Hunter, had been stabbed in the 600
block of Brown Street in Mansfield, LA.  Ms. Hunter was transported to a
local medical center where she was pronounced deceased. Deputies learned that a 15 year old male relative was responsible for the stabbing. Deputies were able to locate and arrest the juvenile without incident. His name is not being released at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
