Football is BACK!!!!

Tigers to face Kerens in opening Scrimmage Tonight

Tonight at 6:00 PM, Coach Craig Horn and the Tenaha Tigers will take on
Kerens in the 2015 scrimmage debut.  The scrimmage will be held at Bullard
Panter Stadium (site of last year's Regional Playoff win over Normangee).  

Around 50 Tigers will load the bus tonight to measure themselves against an
opponent to see where they are after two weeks of camp.  JV action will
begin at 6:00 and the varsity will follow.

 

Meet the Tigers Next Thursday!!!!

Next Thursday, the Tigers will wrap up the pre-season with a home scrimmage
versus New Diana in Tiger Stadium.  During the scrimmage, TISD will have
Meet the Tiger activities that correlate with the on-field action.  Stay
tuned to the Tiger Daily for details.  

Meet the Tiger activities will follow "Meet the Teacher" from 4:30-6:30
throughout campus.  

 

 

Tenaha Elementary School News - New Procedures

.        Breakfast 7:30 (Kindergarten - 5th grade) 

.        First bell 7:50 am 

.        Tardy bell  7:55 am

.        ALL PK(3) and PK(4) students will go straight to their classrooms
each morning.  Breakfast will be served to them at 8:00 am.  They will NOT
report to the cafeteria. 

We will not take phone calls to re-route children after 2:30 pm.  

.        If a child needs to leave early from school it should be done
before 3:00 pm.  

 

Community

The Hope Project, Inc will host the first Annual Back to School Bash on
August 15, 2015 starting at 10 AM until Noon. The goal is to collect and
distribute donations to our area youth and parents by assisting with school
supplies. Ways to help include being a vendor (Booth Rental is $25.00),
monetary sponsorships, food donations, and/or door prizes.  Call
936-248-4648. All proceeds help fund school supplies.

Tenaha Youth Center

We will be open Saturday morning, August 15, giving out school supplies from
10 til 12, and Saturday evening from 5 until 9.
