Kenneth Edward "Cowboy" Davis, age 67, of Joaquin, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Shreveport, La as

 

a result of a log truck accident that occurred in Shelbyville.

 

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Haslam Baptist Church in Joaquin with Bro. Jody Hooper 

 

officiating and eulogy by his christian friend, Oris Dean. Burial will follow at Sholar Cemetery. Visitation will be 

 

Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home.

 

He was born September 7, 1947 in Silsbee to John E. and Mittie Irene (Jimmerson) Davis. He served in the US 

 

Army. He was a member of Haslam Baptist Church in Joaquin. He was a truck driver for many years.

 

He is preceded in death by his Parents, John and Irene Davis, Sister & Brother-in-law, Barbara & Al Cook, Sister, 

 

Betty J. Davis and Father-in-law, James Lambeth.
