On Thursday, August 06, 2015, The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the Medical Specialist Center behind ETEC in Center for The Heart Institute of East Texas.

The Heart Institute will be ran here in Center by Dr ILYAS Mohammed M.D. Dr Ilyas is bored certified in cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. He specializes in performing cardiac catheteriziations through the radial artery (wrist) in addition to the conventional femoral (groin) approach.

According to Dr Ilyas, the Heart Institute is ran by 9 cardiologist to help provide care 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Note, he will only be in Center 1 day a week, but have contact numbers to assist you anytime  for any of your “Heart Desires”.
