Weather Update @ 4 p.m. Friday

Stay tuned to your favorite weather stations and keep an eye to the sky as we do have the possibility of these T-storms late today and overnight.  The NWS does now feel some may turn severe in terms of hail & wind under some of these isolated storms through late afternoon and overnight tonight. We are currently in the GENERAL RISK area of the advisory.

...Strong to Severe Thunderstorms possible across portions of the Four State Region this afternoon and evening...
Timing and Overview:Showers and Thunderstorms will increase across Southeast Oklahoma, Northeast Texas, and Southwest Arkansas later this afternoon/evening and slowly expand southward during the overnight hours. A few severe storms will be possible, especially this afternoon, but the threat for severe weather will gradually diminish after sunset. (See Graphic Below)Four State Impacts:
Damaging Winds:  Primary threat
Large Hail: Cannot be ruled out, but occurrences should be isolated
