Weather Update @ 8:30 a.m. Friday

A little change is in the forecast to help us close out the month on a slightly wetter note.  Today, there is a Cumulus field of those cotton ball clouds that will further develop and expand by late this morning with isolated to scattered convection popping up during peak afternoon heating and on throughout the early evening hours...then, likely increasing overnight as a weak cold front that I mentioned earlier, begins its drop Southward into the area through the morning hours on Saturday.
Sunday looks to be sunny, slightly cooler....a really nice day in the mid 80's.

A broad upper low over the western Gulf is developing over the far Southern SW Texas and Louisiana and setting up a convection area that may setup next week with sea breeze generated showers thru the week...nothing heavy or severe.
