Weather Update @ 11:30 a.m. Thursday

RAINFALL:While we remain under a dome of HIGH pressure, our atmosphere is holding high moisture content. There is a frontal boundary LOW with several disturbed areas sitting just to our North that is expected to slowly drift South and hopefully will pass on thru before stalling out.  Most of the rain will be light except under the T-storm areas. Some small hail, lightning, and gusty winds in the storm areas can be seen. Most of the action will occur South of the I-20 corridor. Nothing Severe is expected for the next 7 days.  Rain accumulations in our Deep East Texas area will be in the range of 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Most of that Friday evening , Saturday, and Sunday. Still, it depends on where the front stalls.

DROUGHT CONDITIONS:For the first time in many years, Texas, all of Texas is out of the drought conditions status. That is a HOORAY for us and West Texas
TROPICAL CONDITIONS:Nothing is forming out of Africa, so the Atlantic should be quiet. Nothing in the way of tropical waves, or potential tropical disturbed areas in the Gulf, and the Pacific remains stable for the most part around the US. Tom JohnsonKTXSANAU6
