Tenaha mother pleads guilty, gets five years for daughter's murder, to testify against husband

The Tenaha mother that was indicted earlier this year for capital murder of her 6-month old daughter pleaded guilty to manslaughter in Judge Charles Mitchell’s 273rd District courtroom last Friday.

Court records indicate 25-year old Angela Marie Moore received five-years in prison. As part of her deal, she has agreed to testify against her husband, 28-year old William Moore when he goes on trial for capital murder.

The duo was arrested for the death of 6-month-old Ariana Moore who died at Center Emergency Department after being transported from a mobile home park on County Road 4356 on Feb. 16.

Angela Moore is awaiting transfer to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, while William Moore remains in the Shelby County Jail.
