Tenaha City Marshal looking for individuals involved in discharging guns at city park Sunday night

The Tenaha City Marshals’ office is looking for the suspects involved in discharging several gunshots last night at the city’s baseball park as children and adults were in the vicinity.

Around 9 p.m. Deputy City Marshal Darren Gray radioed the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office of the incident and said witnesses report shots were fired and two cars left the scene enroute on Hwy 96 South toward Center.

Law enforcement is looking for a gray Chrysler 300 and green Buick, reportedly to be involved in discharging the gunshots.

Tenaha Mayor Orinthia Johnson is asking anyone with information to call or stop by the city marshals’ office.

There were no reported injuries during the incident.
