Center Middle School Beta Club headed to national convention

In February, the Center Middle School Beta Club attended the State Beta Club Convention where they competed in many different areas ranging from arts and crafts to academics. Several CMS Beta Club members qualified to compete at the National level on June 25th-29th in Nashville, TN.

While at Nationals, the students will have the opportunity of competing with students from around the country.  They will also be visiting many attractions in Tennessee. Some of the sites on their
itinerary include Graceland, the National Civil Rights Museum, Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The CMS Beta Club Members and Sponsors are so excited to have his opportunity for the second year in a row. They would like to thank the Center ISD Board of Trustees for helping with travel expenses, Covington Lumber Company for donating supplies for the Living Literature set, Robbie Sullivan for assisting with Uhaul rental, and Matt Haddox, Terry Scull and Rickey Andrews for construction of the Living Literature set.
