Wayne Swan of the Paxton/Jackson Water Supply, which is furnished water by the City of Joaquin, was advised by council that the system would be given a 60-day notice before they would see a rate increase.

In other business, Dub Alford's request for meter removal is to be put on the next meeting's agenda, and Doug Shook was told the city would speak to the engineer in regards to possibly raising the man-hole covers on the new drainage construction project.
