The Timpson City Council has a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. today and among the agenda items for discussion and possible action will be designating a separate checking account for the police department and a termite job at the community building in SoSo Park.

In addition, recognition will be given to employee Larry Burns on 21 years with the City of Timpson and during citizen’s input, business owner Tony Smith and Noel Johnson are schedule to speak on the possible reduction in force of the police department.

On the consent agenda items, the council will consider waiving the 30 ft. spacing for mobile homes at an established mobile home park owned by Al & Debbie Skinner.
