Funeal Notices: 06/15/15

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces service for 99-year old Hallie Pearce of San Augustine. She passed away last Wednesday in Round Rock. Service will be at 11 a.m. this morning at First United Methodist Church in San Augustine, with interment in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine County. Among Hallie Pearce’s survivors are daughters, Sarah Mathews of Jasper and Carey & Bob Densmore of Round Rock; and brother, Donald & Hazel Stallings of Nacogdoches. Memorial contributions may be made to the San Augustine First Methodist Church and the Mission Program of the Church.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces service for 94-year old Mrs. Katherine Birdwell Walker of San Augustine. She passed away Friday in San Augustine. Service will be at 3 p.m. today at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with interment at Macune Cemetery, San Augustine County. Among Katherine Birdwell Walker’s survivors are daughters, Linda & Marvin Best of Hudson; Kathryn & Jerry Skinner of Weatherford and Charlotte & James Mancil of San Augustine.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces a memorial service was held Sunday for 66-year old Charles Hubert (Charlie) Crownover of Garrison. He passed away last Wednesday in Leon County. Memorial service was held at the Attoyac Arena in Garrison. Among Charlie Crownover’s survivors is his wife, Fran Crownover of Garrison; sons Charles Christopher & Amy Crownover of Greenwood, TX and Robert & Deanna Reynolds of Lindale; daughters, Kimberly Dawn James of Alaska, Leasa & Darrell Lunsford of Garrison and Dina Reynolds of Longview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Texas Angel Network in Longview in memory of Charlie Crownover.

 

Garrison Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 91-year old Ella Margaret Cornelius Simms of Garrison. She passed away Friday in Garrison. Service was held at Garrison First United Methodist Church. Among Ella Margaret Cornelius Simms’ survivors are daughters, Lillian & Rusty Cook and Linda & Gus Irwin, all of Garrison; and sister, Sue and Joe Nix of Santo. Memorials may be sent to Garrison Methodist Church, Lufkin State School, or the charity of your choice.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces pending service for 96-year old Mrs. Etta White of the East Liberty Community. She passed away Friday at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
