A world-wide fast food chain restaurant will make its debut in San Augustine this morning when McDonalds opens its doors for business along with the new 24/7 Denny Oil Company’s Check-Point convenience store on Hwy. 96.
Representatives say the store and restaurant will open its doors at 10 a.m.
Check-Point will remain open around the clock offering Shell fuels, food and refreshments, along with gifts.
McDonalds has plans to eventually be 24-hours as well.
A formal grand opening is planned for the location at 4 p.m. on June 18.
