This week is your last chance to buy tickets in the two different raffles the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring.
The first raffle is for a hand-made, custom hunting knife, made and donated by Webb and Michael Bates. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, and you can purchase tickets by calling Stephen Ewing at (903)-407-3030.
The second raffle actually has six chances to win. The items to be given away are:
4000 watt generator ($450 value), donated by Dean's Hardware.
250 amp battery charger ($250), from NAPA in Center.
4-door window tint ($250), from Ultra-Shade Plus.
Two-piece tool chest ($200), from ACE Hardware.
7 1/2 gallon propane tank (filled, $110) from Haslam Sales.
58-piece tool set ($100) from Wilson Supply in Carthage.
You can also contact Stephen Ewing for tickets on this. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Both drawings will be held Saturday, June 13th at 11:30 a.m. at the Joaquin fire station. You need not be present to win.
The Joaquin VFD would like to thank all of these fine sponsors for their generous donations.
