At their meeting Monday night, the Center City Council reappointed Councilwoman Joyce Johnson to the Deep East Texas Council of Governments Board of Directors.

In addition, Center Fire Chief Keith Byndom was appointed as requested by the Center Housing Authority Board.

City Manager Chad Nehring said all agenda items were approved. Among those was a resolution for nomination of the proposed sidewalk project for 2015 TxDOT Transportation Alternatives Program; and an addendum to the airport lease, which allows for the installation of a septic system at the new hangar construction at Center Municipal Airport.
