Weldon “Chuck” Tamplin, 87, of Huxley, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 in New Braunfels.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Gordon Vaughn and Bro. Wes Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.
Mr. Tamplin was born July 7, 1927 in Huxley to Kage Tamplin and Rosa Vaughn Tamplin. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Tamplin was a member of the Masonic Lodge Lake Shore Drive in Port Arthur and Lydia Missionary Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
