Mostly light rain approaching our region right now, but as the front changes, begins to continue backing up as a warm front, the moisture laden air will come with it and the heating of the day will allow more T-storms to form.
The system should move thru fairly quickly and end by late this afternoon and evening.
Please stay tuned to your weather radio, or your favorite radio and TV stations for updates as this series of storms arrives in our area.
Expect hail, gusty winds, heavy rain under some of the more dense storms, and LOTS of dangerous lightning is associated with this event.
The movement of the showers South of the front is to the East North East at about 30 mph...Rainfall still only about 1/3 inch. That figure could easily change as these heavy rain area pass thru even with the fast movement.
