The storms earlier this morning have died out and the reminants have mover East.
It will take the afternoon heating to redevelop these T-storms. If and when that occurs we could see them quickly turn severe.
As we have been watching our favorite TV and weather stations there has been a migration to a new series of nomenclatures. I have not watched every station on air, but those I do watch have all started to display this new storm risk categorization. We are in the ENHANCED area for storm development. Rain is still expected in the1-2 inch range which will cause the current flooding to continue for a longer period.
Monday and Tuesday will bring another round of rain in the amount of 1-2 inches. These are all Spring type T-storms associated with our high temperatures and high humidity.
Mid week we should see drier weather push into our area from the West.
