Center Firemen and Tenaha Volunteer Firemen both responded to a mobile home fire on County 4360, off Hwy. 96 north of Center just after 4 a.m. this morning.

Firemen arrived to find the home and three vehicles on fire and ammunition inside the home going off.

The home belonged to the Lawhorn family, who were asleep when the fire broke out. They were able to escape safely. However, a dog was not.

The cause of that fire continues under investigation.
