TISD Teachers of the Year -   Congratulations to the Timpson ISD teachers of the year.
Timpson Elementary School selected Ms. Cindy Lovil.
Timpson Middle School selected Mrs. Kristan Solomon.
Timpson High School selected Mrs. Teresa Jourden.

These teachers will be honored along with other Shelby County teachers at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Teacher Reception on May 20 at the John D. Windham Civic Center.

THS Baccalaureate Service – The First Baptist Church in Timpson will have a baccalaureate service Sunday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary to honor the 2015 senior graduating class.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Seniors are asked to be at the church by 6:00 p.m.

Timpson Pre-K Visits Zoo - The Timpson Elementary Pre-K class went on a field trip to the Ellen Trout Zoo in Lufkin, Texas last week. They enjoyed seeing all the animals in person that they read about in books. They also enjoyed the train ride at the zoo. The Pre-K teachers are Ms. Penny Ramsey and Mrs. Stephanie Wagstaff.  Mrs. Vicki Hightower is the Pre-K paraprofessional and class photographer.
