The May 9 election is a month away, and if you're not registered to vote, today, Thursday, April 9 in the last day to do so.

In Shelby County, you can register at voter registrar Debora Riley's office in the courthouse.

Early voting will be from April 27 thru May 5.

Elections are being held for the Joaquin, Tenaha, Timpson, Shelbyville and Garrison school districts, and in the Cities of Joaquin, Tenaha, Timpson and Garrison.
