Center Elementary Invites everyone to wear blue on Friday, April 10th, in
support of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

April was first declared Child Abuse Prevention Month by presidential
proclamation in 1983. Since then, April has been a time to acknowledge the
importance of families and communities working together to prevent child
abuse.  

There will also be a special event at the square on Saturday in honor of
Child Abuse Prevention sponsored by the Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center. One of the activities will be a butterfly release (11 a.m.). Everyone is invited to attend.
