If you're looking to better your chances of getting a good job, attend the Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce's annual job fair to be held from 1 to 3 p.m. this afternoon in the Community Building at SoSo Park.

There will be a variety of speakers giving 10-15 minute seminars on how to be wanted in the work force.

Those looking for a job and/or would like to improve their job searching and applicant skills, employers looking for employees now or in the near future, as well as employers wanting to see what the job force looks like are urged to attend.

Shelby County Work Force Solutions will be present to help with questions about jobs in the area; Etech's Carrie Christian and C.J. Baxter's Kent Hutchison will be presenting short seminars to help applicants find employment and be more appealing in the job market. Vernett Richardson of Timpson High School will also be a presenter.
