According to a press release from Center Police this morning, the man who lost his life in an industrial accident in Center Monday afternoon has been identified as 24-year old Steven Lawrence Garcia of Chireno.

Center Police responded to CENTEX Manufacturing (Dragon Inc.) at 946 Loop 500 to an employee being trapped under a piece of machinery around 2:30 p.m. The release says it was discovered Garcia had fallen into a piece of equipment and suffered injuries that resulted in his death.

JP Pct. 1 Maxie Eaves pronounced Steven Lawrence Garcia dead at the scene. An investigation into the incident is ongoing by Center Police and CENTEX Manufacturing.
