The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 8^th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, presented by Cline Family Medicine and sponsored by Center Chiropractic and Nacogdoches Medical Center, Thursday, March 26 at the Windham Civic Center from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Mobile mammogram units will be at the fair.  The deadline to make an appointment has been extended to Wednesday, March 25.  All appointments must be made by calling Daphne at 936-598-7744.  There is a charge for the mammograms and financial assistance is available. There will be two guest speakers at this year’s event. Dr. Dan Wilkins, Wilkins Counseling, will be speaking on “Stress Management” at 10:30 a.m. and Wes Bynum of Hospice of East Texas, will have a presentation on “Caregiver Care” at 12:30 p.m. in the Civic Room. The booth area of the fair will be closed to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the breakout sessions which will allow vendors to attend. The fair is free to the public featuring over 45 vendors with give aways and door prizes.    Vendors will be providing health screenings which include glucose, cholesterol, spinal screenings, heart awareness, and vision. Information will be provided on home health, nursing homes, hospice, nutrition and caregiver relief.
