The Center City Council at its regular meeting at 5 p.m. this afternoon will consider discussion and take possible action on a resolution opposing Senate Bill 343, opposing revenue caps and legislative interference with local services, and an engineering agreement with Klotz & Associates.

Council will also consider Center Softball Association request for waiver of annual contract fee, and purchase of automated light control system for Center Park Baseball Fields.

In addition, Center City Council will discuss and possibly take action on the airport water line construction agreement and project and authorize retirement of Center Police Dept. K-9 unit-Zitan.

In executive session, council will discuss city-owned property at 305 Nacogdoches Street.
