Sara Samford Jackson, 87, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Shelby County, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Ozay Ford officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the graveside service on Thursday at Mangum Funeral Home.

Sara was born on April 23, 1927 in Shelby County, Texas to parents, Joseph Walker Samford & Irada Levona Hooper Samford who precede her in death. She graduated from Shelbyville High School. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Darwin Jackson.
