Weather Update 8 a.m.

DENSE FOG ADVISORY UNTIL 10 A.M.

You will see that we can expect to have two more nice days before the rain returns to us on Wednesday.

The rain is forecast to be another prolonged bout...maybe through Saturday morning. Wednesday will be a day that could include some isolated T-storms. We are forecast to have 80 degree temperatures leading up to the passage of a cool front and the collision of the cold against the warm Gulf air is what will trigger the storms in our area.  We still have minor flood issues in the Attoyac Bayou near Chireno that will be exacerbated by this additional drainage of water in to already water logged areas.

By the way, the lettuce and spinach I sowed a week ago has shown up in my garden in almost perfect rows.  It looks like every seed germinated so this year I will have to really thin them out. It has been perfect conditions for the start to our gardening year.
