Gas prices have leveled-off, dropped in some locales

Gas prices have leveled off and even seen a slight dip in the past week according to Gasbuddy.com, which says the nation-wide average for a gallon of regular is $2.44, a 2-penny drop in the past week. That price is still a $1.06 cheaper than a year ago.

 

In Texas, its $2.24, no change this week; Louisiana is up to $2.25, a 2-cent increase in a week.

 

Locally, the lowest in Center this morning is $2.25 at Walmart. That’s down from a high of $2.28 earlier in the week.
