Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces 72-year old Mrs. Hellen Sickels of San Augustine passed away March 6 in Nacogdoches. A memorial service is planned at a later date. The family chose cremation. She worked in the San Augustine District Clerk’s office for a number of years. Among Hellen Sickels’ survivors are daughters, Virginia Curl of Missouri City, Heather Lynn Littleton of Leesville, La.; and son, Mark Barber of Greenville.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 81-year old Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” Luman of San Augustine. Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with burial at Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 63-year old Mrs. Johnnie Rae Nash of Center. Service will be at 1 p.m. this afternoon at St. Paul Baptist Church in Center, with interment at Thompson Cemetery, Center.

 

Crawford-A. Crim  Funeral Home in Henderson announces service for Mrs. Shirley Wooten Crawford of Henderson. She passed away Sunday. Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home, with interment at Corinth Cemetery near Timpson. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this evening at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. Among Shirley Wooten Crawford’s survivors is a sister, Johnnie & L.D. McWilliams of Whitehouse. If desired, memorials may be made to the SFA Alumni Foundation Math and Science Department Scholarship.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces a memorial service for 79-year old Lola Jordan Harris of Garrison. A memorial graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday at Mount Union Freewill Baptist Church in Garrison, with interment at Helpenstell Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces service for 57-year old Donny Ray Lathan of Tenaha. He passed away Friday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Center, with burial at Bennett Chapel Cemetery in Shelbyville. Repass will be at St. Paul Baptist Church in Center. Among Donny Ray Lathan’s survivors is his mother, Baby Lou Gardner of Center; brothers, Roderick Gardner of Center, Gregory & Carmen Gardner of Nacogdoches, Darryl Gardner of Hunstville, Ricky & Dorothy Cartwright of Center, Charles R. Lathan of Center, and Jell & Tessa Cartwright of Lufkin; sisters, Zebbra Riggins of Center and Vanessa Lathan of Shelbyville.

 

Garner & Son Mortuary of San Augustine announces pending service for 48-year old Mrs. Stephanie Lane Miller of Lufkin, formerly of San Augustine. She passed away Saturday at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin.
