Joaquin Ram, Case Chambliss, a Senior,  will represent the Joaquin High School Boy's Power Lifting team at the State Meet in Abilene, Texas on March 28th, 2015.  Case placed 1st in the 148 lb. weight class at the Regional meet held March 7th, 2015, at Elkhart.   Case'  total was 1200 pounds breaking down as: Squat 465, Bench Press 270 and Dead Lift 465.   His best

The Joaquin High School Girl's Power Lifting team will be represented at the State Meet in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 21, 2015, by Freshman, Desere' Cooper.  Desere' placed 4th at the Regional meet but she had a qualifying total of 910 lbs in the 220 lb. weight class that sends her to the state meet.  The breakdown of her performance was as follows: Squat 375, Bench Press 155, and Dead Lift of 380 totaling 910 pounds. Congratulations Desere' and Good Luck in Corpus Christi!

Desere's team mate, Jaz Atkins, a Junior, placed 5th in the 181 lb. weight class, at the Regional meet.  Her lift total was 760 with a break down of squat 285, bench press 155, and dead lift 320.  Congratulations Jaz on a great effort.
