Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 66-year old Winston Eugene “Gene” Fields of Kilgore, formerly of Center. He passed away Feb. 27 in Brazil. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at East Hamilton Cemetery in Shelby County. Visitation will start at 11 a.m., prior to graveside service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cathy Fields Memorial Scholarship Fund at Farmers State Bank in Center.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 81-year old Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” Luman of San Augustine. She passed away at her residence Sunday. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with burial at Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. She was a bookkeeper and licensed real estate broker. Among Maggie Luman’s survivors is her husband, Emmet Luman of San Augustine; and daughter, Jennie Kurd of Austin.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 43-year old Miss Deundrea Michelle Harper of Jacksonville, formerly of Center. She passed away Feb. 27 in Jacksonville. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Abundant Love Ministries in Center, with interment at Westview Cemetery in Center. Among Deundrea Michelle Harper’s survivors is her mother, Linda Sue Harper of Center; father, B.J. Hunt of Lufkin; son, Donell Harper of Rusk; daughter, Deandrea Harper of Ohio; sisters, Tyshanna Harper and Christy Harper, both of Center, and Cininderlla Harper Boykin of Carthage; and brother, Jessie Harper of Houston.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 63-year old Mrs. Johnnie Rae Nash of Center. She passed away March 3 at Center Emergency Department from injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Center, with interment at Thompson Cemetery, Center. Among Johnnie Rae Nash’s survivors is her husband, Gerald Bolden of Center; sons, Charles Nash, Jr. of Center, Van Nash of Nacogdoches and Chris Nash of Dallas; sister, Sheretta Patton of Center; and brothers, Ken Patton of Center and David Patton of Nacogdoches.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces a memorial service for 79-year old Lola Jordan Harris of Garrison. A memorial graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday at Mount Union Freewill Baptist Church in Garrison, with interment at Helpenstell Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

 

Garner & Son Mortuary of San Augustine announces pending service for 48-year old Mrs. Stephanie Lane Miller of Lufkin, formerly of San Augustine. She passed away Saturday at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin.
