To follow-up on a story we had last Friday morning, a Tenaha man, 42-year old Howard Lamon Hughes was life-flighted from the scene of a single vehicle accident on Hwy. 96 north of Center near Flat Fork Creek.
DPS say Hughes was southbound around 4:45 a.m. when his Ford Ranger pickup hit a patch of ice near the overpass sending the vehicle off the roadway, where it struck a tree, ejecting Hughes. He was taken by helicopter to University Health in Shreveport with unknown injuries.
It’s reported a child was life-flighted from a two-vehicle accident around 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Hwy. 59 at Bobo. The roadway was wet and it’s unsure if those involved were local. Details of that incident are not known at this time.
