Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 66-year old Winston Eugene “Gene” Fields of Kilgore, formerly of Center. He passed away Feb. 27 in Brazil. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at East Hamilton Cemetery in Shelby County. Visitation will be held prior to graveside service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Among Gene Fields survivors are children, Alpha Fields of Kilgore, Whitney & Chris Koltonski of Shelbyville and Hannah & Mark Lee of Nacogdoches; and sister, Jan & Jim Permenter of Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cathy Fields Memorial Scholarship Fund at Farmers State Bank in Center.

Garrison Funeral Home announces a memorial service for 79-year old Lola Jordan Harris of Garrison. A memorial graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday at Mount Union Freewill Baptist Church in Garrison, with interment at Helpenstell Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.
