Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing Body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 9^th day of March, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

 

 

1.      Approve minutes of the February 9^th Regular Meeting and the February 23^rd Special Meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court.

 

2.      Approve Officers’ Reports.

 

3.      Approve and pay monthly expenses.

 

4.      Clarify motion regarding public comment.

 

5.      Accept or reject bids for the following vehicles for Constable Precinct 4:

 

a.       2000 Cadillac

b.      2004 Suzuki

c.       1995 Mazda

d.      2003 Ford Escape

e.       1998 Ford Expedition

 

6.      Discuss and possibly take action to authorize the utilities for Constable and Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4 to be split between their budgets.

 

7.      Discuss and take action on the Lease Agreement and/or office space for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5.  Include payment of utilities.

 

8.      Authorize the payment of utilities for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5.

 

9.      Discuss and possibly take action on the purchase of a radio for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5.

 

10.  Discuss and possibly take action on the distribution of the Child Safety Fee Fund.

 

11.  Discuss and possibly take action to contribute $6,000 to the Shelby Soil and Water Conservation District.

 

12.  Discuss and possibly adopt the Proclamation recognizing National Service Recognition Day.

 

13.  Discuss and possibly approve the closing of FM 415 at Bear Bayou for approximately four months for new bridge construction.

 

14.  Discuss and possibly take action on the purchase of Right of Way in Precinct 1 from Hancock Forest Management for TXDoT bridge project.

 

15.  Adjourn.
